Secretary Report - October 2025

Happy Fall yall,

Here we are towards the end of an election assembly, I want to thank everyone who stood for an officer position yesterday, it is not the easier softer way to say willing or accept. We had an amazing amount of willing and capable candidates, and it warmed my heart. You may have noticed that there were not any paper newsletters mailed out this quarter. I appreciate those that reached out for the agenda to discuss voting items with your groups. I can tell the fellowship that committee is committed to getting January newsletter out on time as you will hear in committee report we dedicated time yesterday morning discussing and formulating a plan. I would also like to thank my committee. You all have been a hoot to work with. We have accomplished a lot this rotation and you all should be proud of the work you accomplished.

I attended the old timers coffee in North Platte. They did a wonderful job putting together a panel of long-time sobriety and some treats to sweeten the afternoon. I attended the forum in Omaha in September to celebrate Nicks birthday. It was nice to attend and see friends from across the region and to drive across the state in my favorite season. Please get me your reports within 10 days, that’s before October 22, 2025 to make it in the January newsletter, we want to know what’s new and exciting in your districts! I would like to thank the assembly for the opportunity to grow and serve this rotation. I have had real belly laughs and some hard conversations, but I am so grateful for this experience. It has been a joy and a privilege to be able to serve the fellowship that gave me the life I have today. Thank you for the opportunity to participate in my recovery.
