District 1 Report - October 2025

Greetings Area 41,

In August, our delegate joined us to give his report, and it was very well received. We had strong attendance, good participation, and members appreciated the information and the opportunity for discussion.

Over the past few months, District 1 has been preparing for our upcoming District Inventory. We created a rough draft of questions, workshopped them with our GSRs, and have now finalized the list down to six focused questions to allow for a meaningful and efficient inventory process.

Our District Inventory will be held on Tuesday, November 4 during our regular District meeting, and District officer elections will take place immediately afterward for the next rotation. We are encouraging all groups to send their GSR or any interested members so we can have an informed and representative group conscience.

To support participation and fellowship, district members voluntarily contributed their own money to provide pizza, cookies, and water for inventory night. We intentionally chose not to use group contributions for this.

We also fulfilled our goal of spending down the amount above our prudent reserve by:

• Purchasing Grapevine subscriptions for alcoholics in custody
• Supporting workshops
• Providing literature for meetings

We felt these were meaningful ways to use the funds in direct support of carrying the message.
