Alternate Delegate Report - July 2026

Good morning Area 41,

I attended part of the panhandle jamboree, Steve did a great job attracting members so he could ask them about the grapevine and the app!

I attended the state convention here in June, and had a great time! Thank you district 16 for all your hard work! I especially enjoyed the newcomer panel.

I have been attending the monthly regional calls and the North American Alternate Delegate's or NAADS meeting, and your west central Alternate Delegate's gave a, in my biased opinion, a wonderful presentation on Alternate delegates as leaders: practicing tolerance, responsibility, flexibility and vision. Future Alternate delegates are in this room and if you get the chance to participate, take it! It was a lot of fun!

I am starting to think about bids for assemblies in 2029/2030 so if you have any ideas on where would be a great place to meet come let me know! Especially if you have an out of the box idea, could be a community center or school.

I am hoping to attend the Spanish convention in September and the workshop next month. Also starting to think about wcraasc next year in breezy point MN, hope to see you all there!
