Secretary Report - July 2026

Greetings Area 41,

I am Zach, an alcoholic and your Secretary.

Jaiden and I were able to meet with Nick via zoom to get some tips and advice moving forward to continue to streamline the newsletter process. Thank you Nick for your help, and thank you Jaiden for taking ownership and doing such a great job!

I appreciate the timeliness of the reports being sent in. I had many in my inbox to start the day. Thank you all!

I attended the State Convention via zoom. While not as good as in person, everything worked well, and I am grateful we have the option to attend virtually when the need arises. Thank you Cory for doing such a good job, and thank you too District 16 for putting on a great convention. I was also able to attend a couple of the local campouts and a Round Robin in Ogallala. Attendance was very good, and, as always, the fellowship and recovery was great!

Feedback on Wordly from the April assembly was positive. As a reminder, the agenda item requires reporting back next April on the effectiveness and a recommendation of how to proceed. Your feedback is welcome and appreciated (call, text, talk, email. Whatever works for you!). If you have any technical difficulties, please reach out to Cory, our Audio/Video servant. Chairing the Report and Charter committee continues to be a large part of my service work. I am grateful for an excellent committee that is dedicated to principled service. We have been meeting at least once a month and would welcome your participation.

I am looking forward to attending a Four Corners Workshop in Nebraska City August 8th from 1:00-5:00 pm. It sounds like Lisa and District 5 have a great workshop planned. I hope to see you there.
