District 1 Report - July 2026

Hello Area 41. District 1 meets the first Tuesday of the Month at the River of Life Church at 7 p.m.

I attended our 1st Workshop of the year on May 30th, Writing a Grapevine article. It was a great workshop and I might actually see if I can create a “Fun in Sobriety” article to submit in October for the May 2027 Grapevine publication. We are having a follow up workshop next Saturday for those who like to continue writing their article. We are also in the process of setting up another workshop in October

I attended business meetings with two groups this week; my home group, the Mayflower and the 10:10 One Hour Fellowship. Both groups participated in discussion and their vote on the upcoming voting agenda items. I look forward to hearing how other groups voted on the agenda items and will take this to area with me. District 1 has had 3 GSRs and DCM attend Area this year so far. We have 4 GSRs this weekend. I’m so excited. As a District we are still trying to encourage other groups to send their GSRs or any member to not only the District meetings but here to Area.

I attended the DCM workshop here yesterday and was that very informative and a fun interaction with other DCMs and GSRs just learning our way. Thank you to McKenna and Steve for hosting that workshop.
