District 12 Report - April 2025
Greetings Area 41,
It is with a sad heart that I report the passing of two members of our fellowship. Tom O. from the Loup City group and Guy M. from the Ansley/Loup City group. Tom O. passed with 39 years of sobriety and Guy M. passed away with 62 years and would have celebrated 63 years this month. Both served District 12 and Alcoholics Anonymous extremely well. As well as making a huge contribution to my sobriety.
Last Month we had our District meeting in Broken Bow. Nick, our Area 41 Delegate gave a report on his trip to New York and gave us some feedback on some voting agendas as we conducted our meeting. It was a great opportunity for the fellowship who didn’t come to Area to meet their Delegate.
February 8th I was invited to attend the Perkins County AA feed in Grant. The food was amazing as well as the speaker. It was great to meet new friends from the fellowship.
January 25th District 12 hosted a four corners workshop. We had around 60 members of the fellowship that attended. The food was amazing. Thank you to the four corners workshop chair as well as the Officers that attended and shared. As the focus was on finding the solution I felt there were a lot of great conversations and questions. Thank you to District 12 for helping to make this event a huge success.
Yours in service, Harlan A. DCM Dist. 12
