District 8 Report - April 2025

Greetings Area 41, District 8 celebrated a wonderful St. Patrick’s Day with food and around 30 other sober fellows. In the last couple of months, two new groups have started. The first is a late-night 10:00 pm meeting and an early morning meeting at 7:00 am, allowing our fellowship more options to reach the newcomer. Our 4^th Street Group will be meeting on April 21^st, to decide whether they will be closing their doors. We only have one GSR in our district and are looking into ways to address this by hosting a workshop teaching our fellows the importance in singleness of purpose and legacy of service. This workshop will be hosted on May 17^th with guest speakers Area 41 Delegate Nick K. and West Central Regional Trustee Charlie H.! We are also very excited to be reviving our annual 4^th of July camping trip at Lake Maloney in North Platte, where we will be hosting a watch party for the 90^th International AA Convention. Both events will be on the Area 41 website very soon. See you all there!
