First Timer Orientation Report - April 2025

Good morning Area 41,

First timers happened! We met with a good group of early birds who were excited to discuss the ways of the area assembly. Curt opened with telling us a little about the service structure, introductions and talking about how we got wrangled into doing the jobs we are currently serving in. We talked about how this assembly would run differently because our focus was to get our delegate ready for his trip to New York and prepare for the conference.

There were several great questions about how to access our newsletter, the updates to our website and how our General Service Board Trustees are elected. As we discussed different aspects of the daily schedule, the committee system and how our area operates, we all left feeling excited and educated. Thank you, Curt, for helping inspire and educate our first timers and thank you everyone who attended to make sure we had something to do! We’re excited to watch these first timers continue to grow in service!
