Registrar Report - April 2025

Greetings Area 41,

  My name is Zach, an alcoholic, and your Area 41 Registrar.  The database cleanup in Fellowship Connection continues.  Since I started this project, I have been in contact with every DCM but one.  Seven Districts have finished updating their information.  Seven more have provided me with some updates.  The rest have reported they are working on it.  Please reach out to me if I can help.  I can build spreadsheets, download and print or email reports, talk to you on the phone, text, do a zoom call, walk you through Fellowship Connection, answer your questions, provide my experience, etc. I am here to help!!  I know how much work it is, and I am grateful for your assistance.

  As of this yesterday there are: 578 active listed groups, 105 unknown groups, and 720 group service positions listed in Area 41.  The service positions cover a range of dates from 1977 to 2025, and the start dates breakdown as follows:

• 18 from the 70’s
• 24 from the 80’s
• 23 from the 90’s
• 71 from the 2000’s
• 321 from the 2010’s
• 263 from the 2020’s
• 140 Service positions have end dates

  As you can see, there is still much work to be done.  I look forward to any information that can be provided.  Some (any) updates are better than none.  And, while we strive for perfection, progress is a great place to start!

  I will be working with the Webmaster and the Technology Committee to update the electronic forms on area41.org.  We will be implementing an opt-in option in the group change forms to allow those who choose to have their groups information shared with both the webmaster AND the Registrar.  This should hopefully simplify where to send your information to ensure your group information is updated in Fellowship Connection, the website and the Meeting Guide App.
