Newsletter Report - April 2025

Greetings Area 41, my name is Brock, I am an alcoholic and I’m your newsletter chair. Thank you everyone who helped out with the survey yesterday. Report and Charter received an agenda item that concerned the newsletter, and this is the best way we could think of addressing that item. If you want to do a quick survey on the newsletter, please let me or anyone on the Report and Charter committee know, and we will help you out.

Now to the fun part. Looks like I received everything I needed to make the newsletter on January 22nd, and some more information trickled in through the 26th. I completed the first draft of the newsletter on January 28th. Edit suggestions finished around February 10th, and I completed the final draft for the English and Spanish newsletters on February 12th and sent them to the printer. I ordered 415 English copies and 25 Spanish copies totaling $806.32. On February 27th, the newsletters were ready for pick up, and I was able to grab them on February 28th. On March 5th, I made it to the post office and got all of the newsletters mailed out. Shipping was $178.08.

I won’t mention everyone that called and checked in with the progress of the newsletter and for all the help that was offered and received during this quarter. But it was greatly appreciated. It feels wonderful to be a part of a program that is so supportive. Thank you for this opportunity to serve and for my life.
